Dark Violin Sunburst

If you've played or even just listened to many acoustic guitars, you know the amazing difference a solid top makes. The Ibanez AW30ECENT ARTWOOD SERIES Acoustic-Electric Guitar features a solid top made of Englemann spruce. You'll hear warm lows and ringing highs in crisp detail, the way an acoustic is supposed to sound. The dreadnought body style is particularly well suited to making yourself heard in a group. The cutaway allows easy access to the entire fretboard.

For faithful reproduction of acoustic tone, a Fishman Sonicore pickup is paired with the Ibanez AEQ-SST Shape Shifter preamp with an onboard tuner. Tune anytime, anywhere. You're also ready for whatever connection is available. The AW30ECENT has balanced 1/4" and XLR outputs.

Mahogany back and sides, maple body and neck binding, and gold die-cast tuners with brown pearloid knobs are features you normally find on guitars costing far more. If you've been holding back on an acoustic guitar purchase because you haven't found the right features at the right price, your wait is over.

Really Nice Package

I just purchased this. Was originally looking for a Takamine G340C series but this was in stock in the store. When I played it I was amazed at how easy it was (for a beginner) to play. Only problem I ran into was a dead spot at the 13th fret for the B and e string. Was easily fixed. When plugged into an amp, and adjusted the on-board amp, the sound is amazing. You will not go wrong with this guitar.

I bought this guitar when I was first starting out, and I couldn't have been happier, back then I didn't know much, but now when I look back it was a good guitar, it has a nice sound to it, the electronics were pretty alright, great for somebody just starting out, would deff. recommend this to somebody I know!

I got mine right after Christmas and played it for a little while before addressing set-up. Beautiful tone, brilliant sparkling sound, and believable sustain. I have since lowered the bridge and changed strings which resulted in a quantum leap forward in playability and sound. All I can say is that my electrics are collecting a little dust these days. Great value, it tickled my ears much more than some of the (much!) higher priced models I played.

I bought an Ibanez AW70CENT when it first came out about 10 years ago. It's pretty much the same as the AW30 except the 70 has a low gloss finish. I did have to repair the input connection after 6 years, but other than that no problem.

I recently switched from an ovation celebrity to this beautiful guitar and i have to say...the best thing ive ever done. This guitar plays like it costs a fortune but wont dent your wallet at all! The electronics are also outstanding as well. Great guitar.
