This guitars really great, the set in neck and fast action is really good, and it sounds fantastic for the price. Really worth it. I like it more than most other guitar I've ever played.

I've been playing lead guitar for over 45 years. Buying a guitar for me is like buying underwear. If it doesn't fit right, it is a waste of money. I've always thought Gibson LP, and the strat was the only guitar that delivered until now. For me to write a five star review on this guitar is not something I would bother to do even if the guitar was satisfactory to me. If you want a really well made guitar, with great tone, looks, and playability, this is it. I won't pay the price Gibson and Fender are offering, and to be quite honest, they aren't delivering for what you pay. I was leary about Ibanez, but wow... am I impressed. A blast to play, real eye candy on stage, and a real buy for the price. Took it out of the box, and it played like it had been set up just for me. Kudo's to the Chinese! They are making a hell of a guitar for Ibanez. I love this thing.

Im a true believer in making what you have, usually not thousands of dollars, work best for you. Its perfect for the price. I play clubs and it does just fine and I didn't have to bust the bank. I play through a MARSHALL MG100 half stack with a RP 500. Depending on the care and strings you use, it becomes a real powerhouse of tone and integrity for a beginner or someone who makes money playing. She quickly became on of my family of instruments and will be staying for a long while.

It's a Nice One

A quality guitar for cheap? What a novel idea. Ibanez did a great job making this guitar with a very honest price tag. First, the features are nice, with a beautiful deep red maple top, and nice diamond inlays. The pickups are very nice sounding (I play out of a Fender Super Champ tube/modeling hybrid) and the neck pickup is very deep and smooth, and the bridge pickup is twangy with a nice bite. It is kind of harsh on recordings, and if I was to replace one of them (which I probably won't) it would be the bridge pickup. It stays in tune relatively well, and even though I have a tendency to bump the tuners, I only have to tune it once a week. The only problem I have is the A string, from maybe C to E, buzzes when picked hard. I haven't adjusted the action, but I'm sure that there is minimal fret buzz on most guitars (if not, take it to a shop.) This guitar can give out sweet and smooth bluesy tones or hard edged and crunchy riffs, and I would recommend it to anyone looking at a guitar in the $350-550 range.
