Great looking and sounding

I ordered this guitar through the local music shop in 2007. When it came in, I have to tell you that it was better looking then the pictures on the internet depict. The finish is beautiful. The neck is thin and fat compared to a strat (which is what I played before I got this.)

The neck is nice looking with the inlays and smooth. It has a fast action and double cut-aways for access to the lower frets.

I couldn't argue with the quality of any part of this guitar for the money spent. The tuners are quality enclosed type. All the hardware is nice polished chrome and not plated plastic.

The knobs are plastic, but good and solid and nothing has given me a problem in the last 2 years.

The humbuckers have a sound all Ibanez. I think it's a little fatter compared to a standard body, probably just because of the body size and shape. When I orignally bought this, I was going to change out the pups for a different brand. However, after playing it for awhile, the sound kinda grew on me. It actually didn't take long to find a good sound on this guitar.

I'd have to say, that this is a good addition to anyone's collection...from a beginner, to a collector that likes good quality guitars.

I'm sorry to see that they've discontinued this color, though.

I have personally owned one of these great guitars for approximately 3 years now, and I couldnt have asked for a better axe! It really confused me when they discontinued the product, it was such an amazing guitar! Two thumbs up!

I was at a local music shop when I decided to take a guitar down. Once I got past the expensive Gibsons and Fenders, this immediately caught my eye, with the beautiful top and diamond inlays. My brother was with me and we started to jam. He had a Gibson Les Paul. I was really suprised with how great this sounded compared to the LP. The sustain was great, and it had a nice "crunch" to the sound. I didn't have the money at the time, but this will be my next guitar.

What a deal for! This guitar is ready to play right out of the box. The pickups are quality, sustain is great , tone is super. The 3 position switch gives 3 distinct tones. The guitar is solid in all respects, the attention to detail is very good. The finish is very clean and the look is great. The only negative if you're inclined is the lack of a whammy bar. Otherwise for the price you'd have to pay at least double to get a guitar like this. Kudos Ibanez !!!
