This is a great piece for price. I have had this for a while and bought it for its diversity. I play a variety of music with different people and needed an axe to keep up. Natural feedback gave the great rock and smokin blue. Switch to Latin with ease. A true hollowbody (no blocks) and a great tremolo. The metallic silver finish is great and the sound is solid. Minimal setup from the box. Exactly what I would expect from Ibanez.

This guitar is great! especially for the price. The vintage tremolo doesn't allow for dive bombs, so if that's your style, go with something else. However, for jazz and blues it's wonderful, it has a great vintage sound, and when I plug it into my tube amp, I can make it scream and play more poppy alt rock as well. This is a very versatile guitar, I recommend it.

I got this guitar almost 4 years ago as my headliner for Jazz shows with the college band. 4 tours all over the U.S. and she's still in great shape. Humbuckers are awesome. Sustain is killer. Bigsby feels a little brittle, but wham on it with confidence: It'll stay put. Pour on the overdrive, stomp your compressor, and fingerpick till your hands fall off. If you can't afford a Country Gentleman, this is the next best thing. Peace and good tone...

I bought this guitar a month ago.I was amazed by the quality of a product obviously made in China. This guitar has only 1 little flaw, the tuning heads. I bought a set of Gotoh tuners, put them on and changed the strings. Wow, I would put it up to a comparison with a Gibson anyday! The bottom line is that Ibanez really does strict quality control on their guitars. For the money, this guitar is incredible! Also, they set-up the guitars in the factory, the action is perfect and the intonation is set. With Gibson selling guitars for 3 or 4 thousand dollars, they better wake-up, Ibanez may may put them out of business!

Yep. That sums it up. Great guitar. I've had it for about 5 months. gigged with it. Play it at home. Funny thing, I play it through my fender acoustasonic sfx and it sounds great. Plug it into my old fender eighty five and it sounds just ROCKIN'. Different tones, both very nice. Quality is THERE. I was expecting some neck changes, something to pop off perhaps? But no. Just solid construction. I adjusted the action, brought up the pickups and now the volume is consistent with the rest of my gear. I'm going to keep this guitar forever! You will need to buy the right case for it, though... to accommodate the bigsby bar. Oh: the bigsby is STURDY. I was scared to use it at first for fear that I would rip a hole in the guitar, or break the bigs. Nope. Not going to happen. I'm telling you, this is a sturdy guitar with SERIOUS value, I'm considering getting another in a different color.
