I love this guitar, I've owned it for about 5 or 6 months when I first played it I instantly fell in love with it. This pretty much is great for its price, I love how it looks with the diamond hole it seems to give it a more lower tone, which is what I was looking for at the time. I think its quality is pretty good too i've had no problems with it and its got no scratches or dents yet. One thing though that I have noticed is that you don't want to smack the pointed cut away into something too hard. If you do so you might smash the whole corner in.

I have owned this guitar for a little over a year and I have to say I pretty much love it. Its looks are wonderful, the soundhole and inlays are eyecatching. The action is nice and low and overall fit and finish are excellent. Probably the best feature is the wonderful resonance of the sound, I guess its the mahogany body that does that. I think if this guitar was a little louder it would pretty much be perfect.

I just picked up this beauty a couple of days ago. The ASE20E got my attention the moment I saw it. I presently play a Seagul in my Worship band, and wanted a back up, but with a little more show. Plugged in this is more than adequate. My Segul may be taking the back-up role to my Ibanez. I'm blessed.

The AES20E is number 3 out of my collection. A lot of bang for the buck. Very low action = easy to play, fast fingers! Diamond sound hole is beautiful but pain to find a pick guard for it. Sounds fabulous, very warm and rich! Then plug it in and BAM, Knock Out. Aggresive cut away, inlays, built in tuner, unique style, with simple finish. It's the Johnny Cash of Guitars!

I was in a guitar shop today. The diamond shaped sound hole caught my eye. I wanted to see what this guitar sounded like. So I played it for about 20 minutes. It sounded beautiful! I play a Taylor. I was also playing a Baby Taylor at the store, which is in the same price range as this Ibanez. The difference is, the Baby Taylor is not an acoustic electric. If you plan on just strumming your guitar at home, with no amplification, then I'd say definitely go for the Baby Taylor. But, if you're looking for a nice sounding acoustic electric guitar, at a decent price, this Ibanez is the one to buy. I have always thought of Ibanez as a Bass company or a heavy meatl electric guitar company. But, their acoustics are very well built, & sound very nice. I plan on buying this guitar after the holidays. I sort of already spent my money on a 69 Telecaster ThinLine, which is phenomenal! This Ibanez Acoustic Electric would make a great Christmas Gift for any beginner to intermediate guitar player.
