I just wanted to update my review from October. Apparently my fingers were turning black from one of my other acoustics (old strings) and wasn't coming from this guitar. Sorry if I swayed anyone. I played it the next day for at least an hour and I was mistaken by blaming this guitar.Perfectly clean left hand. It is absolutely a wonderful instrument for the money. It sounds very good with decent volume for its size. I'm surprised by its tone every time I come back to it. It stays in tune fairly well. I would recomend an electronic tuner to go with this for any parent wanting to get this for a child to learn on...No fun playing an out of tune instrument.

I agree with the other reviews that it is a great bang for the buck. I think the manufacturer used a black magic marker though to color the fret board because my left finger tips were turning black after 10 minutes of playing it. It could have been the strings I guess. I'll try changing them. I won't return it but I hope that goes away with time. It really does sound nice for its size. It also has an adjustable bridge. Tuners are open back and work ok and stays in tune. I bought this for one of my students(daughter). She's 10 years old and it fits her nicely. I would not hesitate to buy one of these for travel or campfire sessions.

This guitar is the best bang for your buck. it may not have the looks of a taylor or martin, but the sound is superior to several 1000$ guitars i have played. it sounds great and plays great. what all could you ask for?

Ordered this guitar to research and see if it was quality guitar for beginners age 10 and under. I took it out of the box and played it for hours. I couldn't put it down. I didn't want to put it down. Excellent beginner guitar, I'm not so sure that I would call it a beginner guitar. Great action on the strings, stayed in tune, no string or fret buzz, no dead frets and the guitar actually sounds really nice. How can you beat that for the price. If your a parent who has a child age 10 or under who wants to learn guitar I highly recommend this guitar.
