Quality Control plus Killer Tone

I own Several of these and have heard a dozen more... I can take one twenty years old it sounds the same as one built last week... Some think it looks like Harry Potter's Broom... It makes me grin because once you Play it or you Hear it you know it has Magic... How many Guitars can you play in the dark and know what it is by the Tone... Just don't let the secret out... I like to have a back-up guitar but in twenty years I haven't had to use it... Hohner made a guitar they call "The Jack" that has the exact same Electrics with a more of a Strat. Style Body so I have one of those plus my new G3T... The Best Of Both Worlds... My "Jack" is almost twenty... My Grandfather said it best you get what you pay for still works today...

I bought this last year, and still I'm enjoying slingin' this guitar. I'm thinking of changing the pickups, but then, I thought- why do I have to if I can still sound good on EMG select pups? I have fender teles and strats and jazz boxes, but on live I choose to play this axe(hohner), because it's easy to carry and is so versatile, compared to other guitars. The feel is excellent, I can emulate holdworthian-legato-runs. Great guitar! Keep it up hohner:-)

Just as I bought it a fourtnight ago, I was pleased as can be by this guitar. Playing Fenders and Gibson for more then 35 years, I was eager to see, what this piece would do. Really great!!! Sounding like a Strat with the feel of a Gibson. Congratulations to Hohner. Competitive to all other "Headless" around.

Swap the pickups out

This is an awesome travel guitar! The neck is true and it stays perfectly in tune. Intonation is very easy to adjust and is perfect. very easy to play - I like my action low. I swapped out the pickups with some Duncans and it screams. The EMGs weren't too bad - if you have the cash it is a good idea to replace the stock EMGs it comes with.

I like that the fret board is wide and flat - I love my Les Paul and the neck on this guitar is comparable. For the price it is a great buy!

Overpriced

If this guitar went for 300 dollars less than the MF price it would be worth it. The paint is caked on (even though there was a chip), the strings buzz at the saddle despite setting it up, and the pickups are cheap EMGs. It seems fragile. There are better products at this price.
