Just what is so great about the Guyatone MD-3? Quite simply, the Micro Digital Delay Pedal offers the most authentic note reproduction of any delay device available, period. At lower feedback settings (around 2 o'clock) the MD-3 digital effects pedal can be used for multi-layering of short parts, creating beautiful, ethereal soundscapes that slowly fade into infinity. extremely compact, simple to use, very crisp digital sound (if you want warm analog this isn't for you)adds some noise to the signal, but nothing major. rated a 4 for features because there is no tap tempo feature and because the delay feedbacks stop once you stomp the pedal off. some of the boss delays fade out the remaining notes which is my preference. im 50/50 on whether i would buy the pedal again, simply because of the features

No bells and whistles. But it is small and felt solid. I have the Guyatone trem that I've used for about a year w/ no issues. This pedal was ok. Nothing special but when you kicked it in it would let out whatever was stored in the ram which kinda stinks. Quiet and fairly priced. Just not my thing.

I love this delay. I've been playing for close to 20 years and this is by far the best I've every used. I've had it for a couple of years now. It's so versatile. Slap backs, dotted eighths, long delays - you can do pretty much anything with this pedal. Sounds amazing in an effects loop, as well as in front of an amp (I'm playing through a Fender Super-Sonic). I only wish there was a MD3+ or something like that with a tap tempo feature. I'm actually seriously considering getting a second one to set two different delay times. Only thing negative is that mines eats batteries, but it's now on a powered pedalboard, so that's not an issue. And, it's got a tiny footprint. Buy this delay if you're in the market for one.

Although digital, the Guyatone MD3 delay is warm and designed to act like a vintage delay. It is competitive with everything in and well beyond its price-range. Right now it takes up a tiny amount of space on my pedal rack but has also been taped to my guitar strap.

Its not an Eventide or t.c. electronic device, but it's nowhere near the cost whilst still doing a fine job. In a lot of ways it reminds me of an Electro-Harmonix product except cleaner and built better. I'm not sure why some people have been dealing with shoddy workmanship, but the two I own never have caused a lick of trouble and have great battery life.
