This pedal is really cool. I was kind of skeptical about how analog it would actually sound, being a digital delay. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged it in. The pedal really can achieve those warm somewhat distorted analog delays. Lots of flexibility too. My favorite is the tone of the self oscillation on this pedal. Really haunting. P.S. - It's really a lot smaller than it looks, fits good on any pedal board.

Pedal just arrived today so I can't say how well it's going to hold up but it seems well built. The sound from this little giant is amazing. If your looking for a decent echo under a $1000.00 then this is it. It's even better than the old echoplex because there's no tape to break in the middle of a solo on a gig. I had ordered a Danelectro Reel Echo and sent it back in exchange for this pedal. The Danelectro is a total piece of crap. To compare this pedal with the Reel Echo there is no comparison. This pedal will do almost anything you program it to do. I use it mostly for Rockabilly but it also sounds great on ballads. If you're looking for a pedal that will fill your every musical echoing whim this baby will do it. 100 times better than Danelectro. BUY IT! You won't be sorry.

Ok, I'll try it again..I just wrote a lengthy review and I pushed send and it said it couldn't process my request. I love this pedal, it deals in shades, so it's not for everyone. Use a compressor before it and turn down the output level because it overdrives easy.(it's very sensitive, if the signal is too loud it will pop on the bounce backs)..Use the tape nob to darken the sound and add some analog for some grit, you will find shimmering tones of dark beauty. If you are really into your tone then, this is a great buy.
