The Guild GAD-4N acoustic-electric cutaway guitar is made with all solid woods & has a spruce top and ebony fretboard. A comparable cutaway guitar, construction- and woodwise, is the Taylor NS32ce, which costs about $500 more. The Guild is well-built and very playable. Its neck is slimmer than a stock classical guitar, the action is low, & the intonation is superb. The Guild's tone is sweet and somewhat bassy. I wanted more treble, so I put on a set of Aranjuez Classic Golds (600 set); this helped a lot. All in all, this is a very good guitar for the intermediate guitarist; it is an excellent value for the money.

The guitar has all solid woods with a spruce top and ebony fretboard. It is well-built and easy to play wih a slim neck, low action and good intonation. Its tone is somewhat bassey, i.e., more sweet than incisive. A good guitar for the intermediate player, and a very good value for the money.
