I don't own one yet, but I've played it and was very impressed with the quality of this instrument. It blew away a similar new Martin that costs more. I fell in love with the wood bindings on this guitar, a welcome change from the plastic found on nearly everything else available. Although not particularly loud, it is warm and balanced. I've played lots of guitars and this one is one of the best at any price. You could not go wrong with it.

I do not own this guitar yet but have probably put several hours into one to the great annoyance of the music stores I have visited. I currently own a Yamaha Dreadnaught and have been doing some heavy comparison shopping. So far, out of all the guitars I've tried only this particular model Guild delivers what I'm after. I prefer a bassy resonance to the tone and the Guild delivers. The tone is smooth and unbelievably consistent with no buzz all the way down the neck. The volume is also loud considering the body is of traditional size. You can feel the vibration in your chest. This might cause a problem with an acoustic pup. You could probably just mic this thing.

Another thing. The pictures available and even Guild's own catalog do not capture how beautiful this guitar is. The finish is flawless and the mahagony gives everything a warm feel.

The looks of this guitar are alright, but you can't beat the sound at this price. If you put some elixirs on, I'm sure this thing would sound amazing! the full-body really lets the wood sing. I have a takamine gb7 that sounds great and is twice as much, and I think this guitar could keep up. So if you're looking for a good guitar, forget the other junk in this price range (except maybe the breedloves!) and get this.
