True "Beatles" sound. Easy to play and stays in tune. Run it through a Line 6 Flextone III XL or Fender CTSE and the tonal possibilities are endless. Love this guitar!

This instrument has a great and unique sound that will fill out the collection of anyone who wants a nice bridge between single coils and humbuckers. I'm talking specifically about the G6128T version with the filtertron pickups and Bigsby. I am not as big a fan of the dynasonic pickups which can get shrill and thin sounding IMO in the treble registers. The filtertrons have a nice dynamic range and crunch up nicely when played through an overdriven tube amp. The clean sounds on the other hand have a nice managable twang and warmth although they are not as warm as a Gibson's humbuckers. Another rarely mentioned feature of this guitar is it's easy playability and light weight. This is not a solid body but rather a semi-hollowbody and it is noticeably lighter than my ash Telecaster. All in all this guitar fills a nice niche between most single coil and humbucker equipped guitars. So if you are looking for a dynamic sounding instrument that doesn't do what your other guitars already do sonically; try playing one of these versatile classics.
