This is a good guitar if you are just starting to play and want a decent electric guitar. I find that the pickups buzz, the lack for separate volume and tone pots for each PUP doesnt suit me at all. The strings will vibrate on the frets if you dont get it setup and the bridge is a pain to re string. DO NOT play this giutar for any gigs your audience will be dissapointed with the sound

I own a strunal acoustic, a squire strat and a dobro steel and this jet is the best!. I got this guitar as a replacement for an epiphone dot. The jet has a great neck and a pretty decent sound and if your looking for a nice cheap guitar you should buy one of these. All of jets are real nice.

Found one of these at a garage sale of all places. I collect Gretsch guitars so naturaly I had to have it. I did replace the pickups as gretsch pickups are fairly weak, Mine all get tv jones pickups, this one got a set of Seymore Duncans, all I can say is BAD A** this guitar is now in my stage lineup, get one.

When I tried this guitar out, The first thing that I noticed was its weight. It was way heavier than I like, I use a epiphone les paul and a epihone dot on stage. But if you want a great value, get a dean MLX, they're in the same price range and they dont hum, like the gretsch does, the gretsch name is legendary but if you want a gretsch quality gretch, you are going to have to throw down a couple more bills.

Where do I start. If you're looking to move around on stage this guitar is very heavy. The input jack on mine came loose and shaky. It almost cracked my amp. If you are buying one plug it in as soon as you get it. If you hear some humming take it in right away to get the input fixed. The humbucker was also loose and I had to replace it. I somewhat blame the retailer for the majority of these problems but still there are better deals out there.
