Hello Gretsch Enthusiasts, First off, Id like to comment on the play-a-billytee of the RHH. I've always heard that "real" hollow body patrons prefer a floating bridge. I love the pinned bridge and the locking tuners. It makes intonation maintenance and string changing quick and easy without sacrificing any tone. I also love the 55' Duane Eddy thicker vibrato bar. It has a better feel and seems to resonate tone through the guitar while using or not. I also always recomend the TV Jones classics that will never let you down. If'n yer trying to decide which Gretsch to buy, I have to say that all Gretsch people should have a G6120RHH in their collection. Gabe V, Cowboys n' Engines

REV. Horton Heat Rocks!

This is a great guitar it just exudes cool. The Guitar plays like a dream the neck is super fast and the action is really low. It literally sounds great with all different types of music. From Rock to Metal its a great guitar. I had been playing it through a Marshall TSL 100 Stack but I decided to get a Fender 57 Twin because It's a shame not to play this through either a bassman or a twin. I'm not a RHH fan, not that I dislike him it's just not my cup of tea. This guitar can be used for a ton of different styles and like I said before EXUDES cool. Most people just stare at it it's that beautiful. The one complaint I do have is Gretsch should ship this guitar with a "cowboy" case. I went and bought a real cowboy case because a guitar of this caliber should be pampered.

Other than that the value of this guitar is excellent.

Rock on!

Really fun to play!

I had the opportunity to try out this guitar on a 4 hour gig when our keyboard player purchased it for his collection. He told me he had 30 minutes on it and he wanted to hear it in my hands. What a treat! For the Rockabilly stuff I like to play having all of the tone controls and the Bigsby tremolo bar was a dream come true. My suggestion is to go with lighter strings like .009s instead of the .010s. I had no problem adapting to this guitar in lead or chord work. The frets do need a "polishing in" as mentioned in other comments, however if you are a player you'll polish them from use. If I get the chance to buy this model at a future time( I mean finances) I would make it a weapon of choice. I used it through a classic 68 Fender Dual Showman and it has awesome tone and playing characteristics. Bill Waldron "The Hillcrest Gang"

This is my first Gretch and I am pleased that the RHH is well made and has the vintage sound and response I was looking for. I found the frets were not properly finished and polished as I would have expected given the quality of the instrument. This is a hollow body with a heart of soul.
