The King Of Guitars

A few years ago, I went shopping for an electric guitar. I tried Gibsons, Fenders, and Rickenbackers. I bought the Gretsch 6120 because of the great Gretsch sound. I love it's bluesy twang. It sounds so good, I often play it without an amp. I know this guitar has a rep for rockabilly and country, but I am truely surprised it is not used more often for blues. It must be one of the world's best kept secrets that the Gretsch 6120 can belt out the blues with the best of them. It's bluesy twang is custom made to make the blues wail as well as swing. I strongly recommend this guitar for anyone who wants a high-quality, beautifully made, great sounding guitar at a reasonable price. It is great for rock and roll, rockabilly, country, and believe me, it can really play the blues.

I bought this blueburst 6120 in 2005, when Chet Akins' signature was on hiatus. This is one amazing sounding guitar. the bluesy twang is great for oldies rock and roll, rockabilly, and blues. Not many blues guitarists play Gretsch, and that's a shame, because this guitar has a great blues voice. I love playing it without the amp, it sounds so good. I would strongly recommend this guitar over any other hollow body or semi-hollow body, including Gibson. The price may be a little high, but the quality is excellent, and the craftmanship is perfection. If you play the 6120, you will want to buy it!

This guitar is a really great guitar. It has rockabilly written all over it, but it does not stop there. It can handle rock, jazz and blues also. It is kind of pricey, but it's quality is top notch, even for being made in Japan. I would highly recommend purchasing this instrument. Besides, with Chet Atkins and Brian Setzer names attached/endorsed, you can't get any better than that.
