The Godin Multiac uses the same design as the Godin SA (Product #511886), with a rosewood fingerboard and the L.R. Baggs I-Beam Duet system. When plugged in, the electric guitar produces the sort of fidelity that is associated with a high-end condenser mic on a full-body acoustic guitar. The I-Beam transducer and under-saddle pickup combine with the sophisticated preamp to deliver the sound that only a nylon-string guitar can produce. The output section on the Multiac guitar includes a regular 1/4" jack as well as a balanced XLR out with phantom power capability.

Godin Multiac Nylon String Duet Electric Guitar Features:

  • Chambered mahogany body
  • Solid spruce top
  • Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard
  • Custom L.R. Baggs I-Beam Duet electronics with under-saddle transducer and internal condenser mic
  • 16" fingerboard radius
  • 25-1/2" scale
  • 1-7/8" nut width
  • 1/4" and balanced XLR outputs

This guitar has been nothing but a royal pain. It changes tone in the middle of a set. The faders are useless. They only make the tone worse. I contacted Godin about it but they had no answers. My Chinese electric nylon which I paid far less for sounds better. I've tried different strings, nuts, saddles, amps, and nothing worked to make this waste of good wood sound any better than a cheap, shallow, imitation of a guitar. Godin may make a better model, but this sure isn't one of them. BIG disappointment. Way overpriced. If you play professionally, skip this loser.

One of the nicest instruments I've ever owned.

Craftmanship is absolutely beautiful. This is, without any doubt, the easiest playing guitar that I've ever owned. I have five, high end to low end. This is my favorite. I'm very pleased with the quality of the components, balance, action, tone. I would have paid "new" price for this one if I hadn't picked this one up first. Only one unsatisfactory experience....I wrote to the manufacturer / luthier to try and obtain a copy of the original manual that came with the new guitar. They were not the least bit cooperative. I guess "unavailable" means just that. You'd think that they would be more proud of this model than that. So much for support. I still love this guitar.
