I've owned this guitar for a little over 2 years now and have hardly even considered buying anything new (but everyone looks at PRS at some point). It is so incredibly playable. Though I primarily play melodic Death Metal, it is cmpletely universal. A lot of people including myself were skeptical about the EMGs clean ability but that instantly went away. It fits absolutely all of my needs and I really couldnt ask for anything else.

I bought this guitar about 4 months ago, and it is one of the most amazing instruments ive ever played. My friend bought an Epi Sg with emg's for the same price, and his guitar is not even close to as good as mine. The solid wood gives good tone, unlike cheap plywood in epiphones.

I bought this when I was looking for a guitar to get the new metal sound. I was a little unsure seeing that that I never played or owned a Godin guitar. All I can say is WOW! I have been playing Strats, Teles & Les Pauls but this may become my main guitar. Great distortion tone and cleans up very nicely. The only complaint I have is that I may change the neck pickup to a EMG 60 just for a little more tonal difference but, if you are looking for a great playing guitar with active electronics this will be a great choice!

Epiphone Les Paul? No, Godin Freeway!

I was looking for a new guitar to begin my career as a guitar player. I wanted a guitar with a price range of about 500 dollars, and I wanted it to be a really good one that would last for a long time. I was originally thinking of buying an Epiphone Les Paul, but they didn't really appeal to me. Finally, after a long time of searching, my guitar teacher showed me this one. It's perfect! It has amazing bite and an awesome feel to it. The finish on it looks terrible in the picture but in real life...it's smokin hot plus it doesn't scratch! Forget buying an obnoxiously Epiphone Les Paul, this guitar is really light. Overall, I would say that this guitar is probably better than a Gibson. Buy this or spare your ears beauty.

I just recieved this guitar as a birthday gift to replace my Schecter Diamond Series C1 Elite. This guitar compares in both sound quality and playability to any other guitar I've played. A very solid clean sound, and a very live distortion from the EMG's. Great intonation throughout the fretboard. This guitar is Awesome all around!
