This guitar is awesome! I have been playing for 45 years and this guitar blew me away. I use it with an old Rolgand VG-8EX and the newer Roland GR-20 and a Digitech RP-150. The sounds are amazing and when I play it with no effects it sounds great too. I even play slide with it !!! You will not be disappointed. Greg in Guam, member of the Beach Geezers.

I just purchased this to use with my axon 100 synth. I have never played nylon before and use either a pick or thumb pick and fingers. I have never had so much fun with a guitar as this. I was using a roland GK-3 magnetic pickup and an Ibanez Artcore with my axon. Though it tracked well with my Ibanez, this is a whole order of magnitude better. The sound of the guitar is much better than I expected. Being nylon you do have to play clean. If you don't you can get some very un-musical sounds. With the synth I can make it sound like a steel string acoustic, a piano, sax, flute it tracks perfectly. But I like it just straight through to my keyboard amp with a little reverb. And for me the best part was the neck suits me. I'm used to my fender strat, and this guitars neck isn't much different. I love the satin mahogany and the ebony fretboard this guitar is easy on the hands. The only guitar I can compare it to is a Carvin NS1. This guitar has a better neck for me and was quite a bit less expensive.

This guitar is a great buy, and I'm convinced that anyone would be hard pressed to find a better deal in an electric nylon string. The build quality is excellent, as is the playability and the sound. I've been running the guitar straight into a Roland Cube 60 guitar amp with the highs rolled off and get a beautiful amplified nylon sound out of the instrument, no matter where I'm at on the neck. I've also run straight into a mixer with it and have been very happy with the sound.

I have a degree in classical guitar performance from a conservatory and have spent years playing quality instruments. Most of my professional work has been in pop/rock/blues/jazz you name it. I've always wanted to return to a nylon string but have had quite a bit of frustration finding one that amplified well both from a tonal quality perspective and from a feedback perspective. This guitar knocks the ball out of the park on both counts so far as I'm concerned.

So far I haven't done much with the synth access, but have been pleased with the results on this front as well.

I just got this guitar 5 days ago. While I'm considered a far greater piano player than guitar (been playing piano for 25 years), this weekend the tables were almost equal.

I'd heard of this guitar, and wanted one for about 10 months. I'd read a lot about it, and after saving the chunk of money, I purchased it.

SOUND Absolutely amazing. I'm not technical. But the pickups on this guitar blew everyone away. I was playing at a retreat this past weekend, and I have a friend that's played sax with the greatest musicians. He was even blown away by how great it sounded.

I did use it with a Fischman Aura Nylon String Sound Pedal thing (forgot the exact name). No Joke, Hands Down, the BEST guitar I've played.

It's light, and the SLIM NECK allowed me to play it effortlessly.

It comes with Godin Strings, which is what I'm going to purchase as backup sets.

All around, it's just AMAZING. I'm in love with the guitar and I've only had it for a few days. And I haven't even gotten to its full MIDI potential, as I'm waiting for the Roland GR20 purchase, which should complete my guitar setup.

If this is an example of all godin products, this is one class company. Maybe the long, cold winter nights are the reason. I have 10 guitars and I am not a collector. I would pay double the price for this guitar. One thing, this must be electrified.
