This one is the best I have ever played. I have a Martin D-35 and it`s a great acoustic but doesn`t have the tone like the J-200. Everything you play sounds crisp and clear. Makes you want to play all day long. Pete knows what sounds best for His writings. Thanks Gibson !!! P.S. also have Pete`s signature S G .

Man, what a guitar. Strong, sometimes eerie power. A sound like music you could chew on. I'm selling my Taylor and getting one of these as soon as I can. Great stage presence. Pete uses a couple, tuned differently I guess, on his current tour. Go see the Who. Incredible show for fans and musicians alike. Worth the tickets for "Pinball Wizard" alone.

Gibson Strikes Again

It would be hard to beat this one! Simply put...this is as fine an acoustic guitar as I've ever played or heard. The quality of construction is at the perfection level..not an uneven seam to be found. The flame in this maple is stunning. Pete's neck is thin, similiar to a 60's Les Paul (go figure!). The guitar plays fantastically for both rhythm and single note leads. The harder you play it, the more it plays back at you. And for fingerstyle folks, it's superb. The tone has that bluesy bright twang, and the large body allows this axe to rumble...both at the same time! I love my Martins, but this is a killer acoustic instrument.
