I absolutely love this guitar. The pickups are honestly the best things I have ever heard. This guitar sounds great clean as well as with distortion. The finish feels and looks great and the guitar is comfortable and easy to play. It even resonates well when unplugged, I think that is because of it's chambered body. Great guitar.

I've been playing this guitar every time I visit my local Guitar Center and finally bought it. For the price I paid for, it was steal considering how it plays sound. It's not one of the best looking finish so I had it custom painted and now it looks and sound are matched.

I bought my Vintage Mahogony 2 years ago, and have not regretted it for a second. The combination of he Burstbuckler pros, along with the mahogany, produce a sound which I don't think you can replicate with any other guitar. I've used it in recording sessions, playing everything from Jazz to swing, to blues, with wonderful results. I did note quite an increase in the price, but I still believe it is a more than fair price considering what you get. It stays in tune well, looks great, sounds great in multiple playing venues. The one thing I can tell you to beware of is it dents easily,so beware of that. Do I still recommend this guitar? ABSOLUTELY! A Great guitar-well done Gibson!!

This is a great guitar, but there are pros as well as cons

Pros: The neck feels great, there is no fret buzzing what so ever even with low action, and the burstbuckers are very versatile pick-ups.

Cons: The guitar does not stay in tune that well especially when you first put new strings on it. The only other complaint is that the paint starts to wear off in places with a lot of friction(neck and back of the guitar where it rubs against your b shirt.)

Overall it is a great guitar (especially after I installed a bigsby vibrato arm and tail piece on mine!!)
