Faded Cherry Mahogany, Chrome Wine Red, Chrome Wine Red, Gold Fireburst, Gold Hardware Black, Chrome Classic White, Chrome Hardware

The arrival of the Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar in 1983 offered guitarists all the essential elements of a Les Paul Standard, including a carved top and humbucking pickups. Its simple yet elegant design quickly helped it become the most popular model in the Les Paul Series. Cutting-yet-rich tone—the hallmark of the Les Paul—pours out of the 490R and 498T Alnico II magnet humbucker pickups, which are mounted on a carved maple top with a mahogany back. The faded finish models are equipped with BurstBucker Pro pickups and a mahogany top. The Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar includes a Gibson hardshell case (Faded and satin finish models come with a gig bag) and a limited lifetime warranty.

Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar Features:

  • Carved maple top and mahogany back (Mahogany top on faded finish models)
  • Mahogany neck, '59 Rounded Les Paul
  • Rosewood fingerboard (Ebony on Alpine white)
  • Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar
  • Chrome or gold hardware
  • 490R and 498T Alnico 2 magnet humbucker pickups (BurstBucker Pro on faded finish models)
  • 2 volume and 2 tone knobs, 3-way switch

Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar Includes:

  • Gibson hardshell case (Faded and satin finish models come with gig bag)

Ive been playing for about 7 years and this is my first gibson. AFter owning a yamaha and then a fender deluxe mexi strat i can safely say this is my best axe in my arsenal. I purchased the wine red with the gold hardwar. The pictures shown are not really a fair representation of the true beauty of this guitar. You really have to see it in person to get the full effect. Not much wrong with the guitar at all, in fact id say its about perfect. Solid paint job, excellent sustain, and unrivaled power all make this guitar one of the elite.

well lets start with the wait for my backorder, after that all i can think of is they were just pushing them through inspection and out the door.the finish was not totaly dry,the screw holes for the strap were stripped out,the nut on the head stock #3 string keeps jumping out(set grove is not deep enough)pick-up selector switch is screwed up -neck pick-up only works once in a while.i own 12 amps and 26 guitars-worked my way up to gibson and have to say i am very disapointed and upset with the quality of this guitar-once again american quality takes a back seat to all mighty $dollar$ and last but not least thank god the bridge pick-up works the way it should----------------------------------------------------BECAUSE EVEN WITH ALL THE PROBLEMS THIS IS STILL THE BEST SOUNDING GUITAR I OWN -

Gibson did it for me again. thisis my 3rd les paul and 5th gibson. I got it for christmas last year and has been nearly perfect ever since. but not perfect. just a few months ago my guitar teacher noticed that I wasnt getting a loud enough sound even when my volume knobs were the full way up. my know had a disconnected wire that was welded shut. since it was welded we realized that it was never actually hooked up and that it must have been a factory mistake. i sent it back and gibson was nice enough to fix it with no charge. it was probably the 1 in a million mistake guitar but always listen the the little things, justin case...

This is the first Gibson I've ever owned and I am not disappointed at all. I have had many guitars but this is the only electric that I currently use (except I have a backup Line6 Variaxe in case I break a string in the middle of a set). It sounds good and stays in tune. . .what more can I ask?
