If your a musician on a very tight budget and want a Gibson LP jr. then go for it but its not the best, so basically what you pay for is what you get. The quality of the guitar isn't amazing, you can tell that Gibson hid what they did with the body in the back by painting over it...not great. it sounds decent, if you hate hum though, don't get this guitar because it hums like CRAZY. The P-90 sounds kind of cheap compared to the more costy ones. I would suggest saving up for Billie's signature because it is just as good as a real LP junior, but with an H-90 hum-canceling pickup that sounds just like a P-90. It is also the cheapest, but very very high quality, LP Junior on the market. So, if you want this guitar, make sure you know what your buying first

1 pickup + 1 volume + 1 tone = all you need.

This guitar is pretty bare-bones, it only has one single-coil pickup, one volume knob, and one tone knob. But I like that, because that's all you really need. This guitar sounds awesome with distortion, and it also sounds good clean, too. Plus, it looks cool if you're into minimalism like me. Get this guitar instead of paying way more for a different Les Paul, and only getting one more pickup and a carved body to show for it.

I am a converted p-90 nut, and have in the past few years turned onto the exciting tonal possibilities that P-90s bring. I own strats and les pauls and I must say that this and my les paul faded double cut (also with p-90s) out play them all. I feel bad for the guy before me whos guitar came in such poor condition because mine was in excellent condition. Not so much as a blemish. The P-90s do come with hum. They ARE noisy pickups. I don't mean that the buzz will even so much as be a slight factor when you are playing but if you have the volume up and you are not playing, noise will come out of the amp. I think its ridiculous when people complain about this, its just the nature of the pickup so do your research! A simple solution to the noise - if you are not playing, turn the volume off... problem solved. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone who wants that good, punchy P-90 sound. You won't regret it!
