Les Paul Double Cutaway AA Top

I actually got mine in the Heritage Cherry finish. It is not a solid body, it is chambered, not bad, but chambered. The neck is fast 60's slim taper. Trapezoids could be white pearloid instead of that awful aged yellow Gibson's using, hate it. Very comfortable to play due to the lighter, chambered body. Tone wise, if you like a bright sound with a lot of treble bite, you'll like it. Doesn't have the low end balls of a Les Paul Standard or Studio even, kinda twangy on the bridge pickup playing clean, a little too twangy for my liking, I have a Tele if I want twang. Finish is superb, but for me just not very versatile in the tone department, wound up returning and getting an LP Standard Goldtop, just like the fatter tone and beefier feel of a Standard, but the Double Cut is not a bad guitar, just...different.

I went out and was determined to play every solid-body guitar until I found one that felt like it was made for me, and told myself that I would pay whatever that took. This guitar plays just like a Les Paul Standard with the 60's slim-tapered neck, and sounds just like it too! What attracted me to this over the Standard was that I'd never seen anyone with this one, whereas everybody and they're mother has the single-cutaway. It's unique, beautiful, and sounds like heaven. I play it through a Marshall AVT50H Head with a Marshall AVT412 cabinet (hybrid-tube half stack) with an Analogman modified TS9 Tubescreamer in front of it. I'd recommend this guitar to anyone who loves the quality of a Les Paul standard, and wants a little variation in looks (plus, it's a tad cheaper!).

This guitar is totally awesome. I would truly recommend it to anyone. It sounds nice and fat just like the standard Les Paul. I like to refer to it as a Les Paul on a diet haha. My favorite thing about it is the double cutaway. It really comes in handy when your lookin to shred some sweet licks waaay up there. This one is a definite buy!!

I bought this guitar 5 months ago and I will never touch an Epiphone again. I may sound like a snob but this guitar is awesome. It has a chambered body which makes it light and easy reach for the top frets. The humbukers sound really good and the guitar just plays like butter.

First, the trans blue finish on this looks amazing in person. The picture on here doesn't do it justice. But more importantly, it sounds just as good as it looks. It's a bit trebly sometimes, but roll off the presence on the amp and roll down tone and it sounds golden. Being weight relieved gives it a unique almost semi-hollow sound. It has great upper fret access as well. Very light guitar, but it still feels solid when you play it.
