An ebony fingerboard gives it a bright attack. 490R and 498T Gibson humbuckers deliver warm rhythm and hot, solid lead sounds. Gibson also includes a Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and bound body, neck, and head with gold hardware.

Ok, This guitar is arguably the best guitar ever made. I have several other guitars but this one blows all the others out of the water. AMAZING tone very warm the midrange is perfect, the inlays look incredible you can play anything on this guitar and it will sound amazing and yes i mean ANYTHING!!!

My Gibson Les Paul Custom came to me with a chunk out of the body, 4 of 6 tuner pegs broken, and a craked neck.i would have thought that a Gibson Les Paul custom would have beaten my Epiphone Les Paul '57 reissue, and My Gibson SG JR. but i was wrong.

Mine pretty much resides in the closet where it's been for most of it's life. The reason is it's too valuable and a bit heavey for this tired 'ol' man. It is a blond baby and you just dont see too many of those around. The ebony finger board make this guitar look like a million not to mention the sound. I get by with a faded les paul and strats and tele's. I play classic everything, country and rock and rock-a-billy. Case closed, that's the only music you'll ever need to know....aww, just my opinion....

This guitar is a pretty good guitar. When I was looking at my freinds I was a little nervose on what the out come would be. Once I got the guitar, It felt like all the other Les Pauls couldnt match. This is a solid, playable axe! I hightly recomend it.

You talkin' to me? This guitar is the best electric solid body on the market. Better than Les Paul Standard and kicks Fender Strat/Tele square in the croch! By far the best guitar you can buy.
