The Les Paul Junior, introduced in 1954, was the economy Les Paul model. With its no-nonsense look, a single P-90 pickup, and a price of $49.50 it was an instant hit. In 1958, Gibson changed the Junior's body shape to a double cutaway.

Like all VOS (Vintage Original Spec) Series instruments, the 1958 Les Paul Junior VOS is handcrafted for comfort and playability in the Gibson Custom Shop. The construction, neck profile, hardware, and electronics are period accurate, and a special nitrocellulose finish treatment gives it the patina of a gently aged vintage guitar. Includes Gibson Custom Shop case and a certificate of authenticity.

I am a big fan of the single cut-away les paul juniors...but as soon as I got this guitar, it was love at first sight! The finish on this thing is absolutly beautiful...its light, and if its played through a marshall 100watt super lead, it is a match to the sound of greenday!!! The single coil p-90 in this thing sings like a bird. It has CTS pots and a bumblebee capacitor, in other words it is the sound of the vintage juniors. This is a custom shop guitar, so that means you are not getting a piece of junk. this is a great guitar for any true gibson fan!

One of these 'REAL' ones. It's a VOS and it's like the original ones with the 50's baseball bat neck. The TV yellow looks more like a lime green than the mustard yellow. It's a rocker! I've had all of the reissues and they didn't quite cut it. This is the real thing!

Well, they made 'em in the 90's and didn't do that right, now it's all CUSTOM SHOP stuff which cost mucho bucks. Well, if you have a lotta credit and want this guitar, GO FOR IT!!! It's a great guitar! Simple and it's all you need in a guitar!
