Ebony Vintage Sunburst Classic White, Signed Headstock Ebony, Closeup Billie Joe Armstrong

That's why Billie Joe rocks a vintage Junior and why you'll love the Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Signature Les Paul Junior electric guitar. Billie Joe's signature model is a modern re-creation of the vintage Juniors he plays on stage. The mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard (ebony on classic white model) and '1960 slim-tapered neck profile is comfy and gives you something solid to hold on to. It also has a wraparound compensated bridge, nickel tuners, and volume and tone controls.

I had purchased one of these last year and love it. I was looking for a backup and had a local store bring in one of the cheaper vintage burst jr's. I could tell right away that the Billie Joe was so much better. The weight was much better and the overall feel. I ended up getting another Billie Joe instead. I play thru a Mesa-Boogie 50 calibre and a Marshall 4x12. The sound super fat, crunchy and raw. Plus I payed $1200 canadian each. Sweet deal.

This is a great guitar. Some people may disagree with a 5/5 for features, but think about it: Sure this guitar is just 'meat and potatoes' but IT'S A LES PAUL JUNIOR! It isn't suposed to be anything more than meat and potatoes, so quit complaining! If you wanted something with more than one pickup, you should've bought a different guitar! Now, with that said, this guitar is almost as diverse as a DarkFire. It's got a punchy P-90 tone, yet it's also a humbucker (but no, it doesn't tune itself). Now, it stays in tune pretty well, but of course, that depends on how much you play it (something people don't usually take into account when they write reviews). I have only one complaint about this guitar: the case. Technically, there's nothing wrong with it. It functions as it should: it protects the guitar well and it stores a strap, some picks, tuner, etc. The leopard skin lining is awesome, I always get compliments about it. So, as you can see, the case isn't physically flawed, but it just doesn't reflect the level of craftsmanship and care that Gibson puts into their guitars. Glue shows, and the accessories pocket just seems a bit flimsy. But the guitar is perfect. And beautiful too. If a Les Paul Jr. is what you want, this is the one to get, Green Day fan or not. It's way better than the budget model crap they're passing as a Jr. these days, and just as nice without the price (that wasn't meant to be a terrible rhyme) as the Custom Shop Jrs. All in all, this is the perfect guitar...if a Jr. is what you want.

This guitar was a must get for me from the get go. I love Gibson's and I absolutly love the sunburst finish on this Junior. This guitar gives you that punchy sound with its great tone and when the tones turned down it's great for grunge stuff such as Nirvana.

This guitar is a must buy overall and really a great remake for the king of power chords

This is a good looking guitar. It's true it's nothing than meat and potatoes and it doesn't pretend otherwise. Constantly had to tune this thing on stage, compared to my other guitars. Didn't have exceptional tone either. Nothing special really. Didn't buy because of the signature edition, I'm not even a fan of Greenday's.

I love this guitar. Even though the price is a little high it is totally worth it. It has lots of distotion and gives you that Green Day sound that I have been searching for. Another great feature is that its light and comfortable to play with for a couple of hours. I highly recommend this guitar. Amazing!!!!
