The Genz-Benz El Diablo 100W 2x12 Guitar Combo Amp is based upon the tremendously successful El Diablo 100 tube head. Genz Benz has added elements from their proprietary GLFEX cabinet design to deliver monstrous output and tone in a combo package.

The flexed baffle design, dual GBE 1240-V75 loudspeakers and specially engineered Focus-Port delivers the huge, thumping sound you'd expect from an El Diablo combo.

The unique design of this combo offers all features of the El Diablo 100 head. From the flick of the POWER ON toggle switch, the liquid blue glow is an expression of this tone machine's warmth and uniqueness. The design of the tube power section is capable of utilizing EL 34's, 6L6's or 5881 power tubes to suit each player's artistic pallet.

Also, lurking inside this beast is a dual channel tube preamp platform, with the incredible capability of 12 unique and distinctive remote tone variations, easily accessible by the 5 button footswitch. Additionally, an Accutronics© long pan reverb is aboard for added lush character. I play an American Standard Telecaster with single-coil pick-ups. The Benz adds a rich clarity and spank that I have never heard with my Marshall 50 watt tube amp. The hot channels are HOT! The tube distortion is warm, rich and makes you think of the mid-60's and 70's (Hendrix, Trower, etc...). This amp is powerful and solid. I can't see the need to turn it past 5. It has 50/100 watt selector which isn't some gimmick; the two modes sound like totally different amps!! The 100 watt mode has some MONSTROUS power. The 50 watt sounds warm, rich with plenty of growl. The speakers are incredibly responsive; they are some of the best I've ever heard. I use Monster cables and I hear NO hum with my Tele. I couldn't believe I would ever be this happy with a combo amp. I'm thinking of adding an extension cabinet and letting the 100 watt show me what it can really do. I've been dialing in all sorts of great sounds for 3 weeks now; I think I've found five (so far) that are exquisite!! I'm a different guitar player with this amp; I love it!! Genz-Benz Rocks!!!
