Works for Bassists too!

I've had this thing for about three months now and it is sweet. fits all my pedals (two ebs black labels and boss tuner and chorus) perfectly. I think I could even squeeze a few more stomp boxes in there above the others. However, its small enough so its easy to carry around and doesn't take up to much space on stages (play in a big band).
Its convenient too since a lot of the time I never take it out of the case, just unzip the top and its set to go. The pouch on the case is perfect size too, big enough to fit a book and a cords, but lies flat on the case when empty. Also the cord for the power supply is pretty long so you don't need to worry about finding an extension cord.
I also want to emphasize that this thing is pretty tough. I play house parties a lot cart this thing back and forth to gigs all the time and have taken it on short road trips in the back of a pickup truck with a bunch of other gear. This thing has been stomped on by dancers a few times and the handle has been abused, but its still like new. Even though its a soft case, I always feel like my pedals are reasonable safe because of the board on the back extends up a little bit and the case does have some structural reinforcement on the sides.
I had been wanting a pedalboard and power supply for a long time but hadn't found anything that wasn't ridiculously overpriced. Then I found this thing and I couldn't be happier. If you need anything that this case doesn't offer you wouldn't be reading this review right now.

First off, I am a guitarist and play for my praise team, and jazz band. I needed an efficient pedalboard, but I wasn't looking for one with much room. After selecting a pedaltrain, I came across this. Its size (not the biggest) was perfect for me, and the power source and organization of the board was fantastic. I recommend this pedal board to anybody with little amount of pedals and isn't a full out guitarist.

Had it for almost a year. No Problems. I use T-Rex, Boss, and planet waves pedals. works fine, I don't understand why others are more expensive....maybe cause they are lighter... this can get a little weighty but notice I did not describe it as being heavy. The power supply works fine, the bag does its job. I like it.

I agree with other reviewers that the construction of the Gator Powered Pedal Tote board itself is top-notch, and the velcro is DIESEL! Unless you're checking your pedal board on an airplane, this should keep your gear in good condition. It's a good value for the price.
The problem is with the power supply. Although Gator provides individual jacks for each pedal, internally this is an unregulated, daisy-chained power supply. So, if you are using boutique effects with high-headroom gain stages and your power source at the wall is not absolutely pristine, you will experience 60-cycle hum. I found that I could hook up my first two stomp boxes (Retro-Sonic Compressor and Tech21 Tri A.C.) with an acceptable amount of noise, but as soon as I added another box with a gain stage (DLS RotoSim, Dr. Scientist Woofer Wailer), a swarm of angry hornets was unleashed. I live in New England, where every coffee house or tavern that my little vocal trio is likely to play has 100-year-old wiring (just like my apartment!), and coupled with my high-gain effects, this Gator power supply simply could not provide usable results. If you're running Boss boxes and don't have multiple overdrive/distortion/boost units in your chain, you'll probably be okay. Sadly, I had to send mine back, and am now in search of a regulated, isolated pedal board power supply (which will cost me three times what I paid for this Gator package).

I am very pleased with this pedalboard. It feels very sturdy, and the carrying bag also feels substantial. The power supply is one of the highlights, powering all my pedals, including a line 6 echo park, without noticeable noise. The size is perfect for me as I do not have the most elaborate pedal set-up. For me it is perfect for 6 to eight pedals (smaller boss sized pedals)
