Gator - This says it all. Thick padding, quality zippers,workmanship, and extra pockets. First rate product.

I bought this bag at musicians friend (the only ones in the business that still ships by Post Office)very good quality zippers are adequate,the feel of leather is very good , the sling on the back is comfortable very good gigbag .

I bought this because I've come to appreciate how little space a gig bag takes up, and a how heavily padded one (this one is!) can offer as much protection as a cheap hard case.

I bought this for my Epiphone SG 400, after pondering the hard cases available. This guy costs as much as the Epiphone Hard Case, so it was no quick decision. The SG fits fine in all respects except length...I have to stand it up on its end and 'thump' it on the floor to take up every micron of extra room so I can close the zipper around the head stock. If I had tried it in the store, that would have made it a 'pass'. I'm going to keep it, and see if it doesn't stretch out just 1/4"...if not its a great bag, and I'll use it for one of the other guitars that seem t keep passing through my life.

..but what's with all the non-removable straps??!!I wish they had made it so they could be detached. Not all of us are going to carry it on our bicycle...should you choose to do so, the waist strap would make that easy. I hate to slice the straps off, because one day I will no doubt sell it, and the next buyer might just love all the webbing.

Other than the SG length, and the "oodles of noodles" straps..Its a darn nice bag!

Does it's job without a doubt. Stylish looks are a plus, for sure- it fits my Tele no problem too. You can't rough around with it, obviously, but your guitar is protected by a high quality case with no real drawback.
