The single-channel Fishman Loudbox 250W Triamped Single Channel Acoustic Amp delivers exceptional tone, clarity, and power at high volume levels. The Loudbox has an ultrahigh impedance input with an EQ section comprised of bass, treble, midrange, plus brilliance controls. Anti-feedback circuitry (notch and phase) keeps acoustic feedback under control. Other goodies include a spring reverb, mute switch, effects loop, and an XLR output. A convenient 3-position kickstand lets you tilt the amplifier back as a floor monitor. Inspired by high-efficiency commercial sound reinforcement systems, the Loudbox's 3 power amplifiers deliver cleaner, less distorted sound through its speakers than any acoustic amp in its class. The highly efficient 8" woofer delivers maximum low end with clarity and definition while a 4" polypropylene midrange driver covers those crucial midband frequencies. 2 soft-dome neodymium tweeters ensure a detailed and musical treble response. Each component is housed in its own sealed sub-enclosure.

Great Amp, if you have a great guitar

This amp is amazing. I've owned mine for about 2 years and I wouldn't play through anything else. I play small shows around town and this amp really puts out the volume. It is simply brilliant. The only thing to be careful about is what kind of guitar you play through it. If the guitar or the guitar's electronics aren't at least mid-range in quality then you won't get a very good sound. I know that seems a little obvious, but just believe me, play a high-end Martin or Breedlove through this thing and you will be in love, play a crappy guitar through it and you'll want to trash it.

Great Amp, a little heavy for its dimensions

I owned this amp for two years now, taking it on the road to all my shows. It is a strudy little amp, but it is pretty heavy for it's size! It is really loud and stays pretty true to your guitars tone, so if you have a really nice guitar it is perfect. I recently sold this one to get a fender Acoustasonic Ultralight (seperate head and cab)- I like the tone a lot on the Fender, but be careful, it will really bring out any mistakes you make in your playing. The Fender is nicer in the weight category as well, the speaker is 22 pounds and the head is 7.6 pounds and comes with a carrying case!

AMAZING AMP

I play this amp a lot. I use it every night of the week and 2 practices a week with my band. I had a Crate amp and thats exactly what it was good for is a crate. I can't understand why somebody wouldn't be impressed with this amp. I use it in concerts and I don't baby it at all. I run it hard all night right in front of me as a stage monitor for my guitar. I never get feedback from it. It has amazing response and excellent tone. Thats where the tri-amp system comes into play running a woofer for bass, mid for mid range and 2 tweeters for the highs. there is no other amp that even compares to it!!! FISHMAN did and exceptional job on this amp.

Best sounding acoustic amp on the planet

Ive been playing my Ovation acoustic for 25 years through several acoustic amps and never have I heard one that gives my guitar that sound I have always craved. I ended up just running direct through a 15 band EQ. People were always thrown back by my acoustic sound(without a acoustic amp). Can't wait for them to hear this little monster at the next gig! Super sound! If your looking for that professional concert sound, look no further.
