I'm not a technical guru, so I'm sorry if this review doesn't have all the specific details that some may want. I'm a pretty new guitar player. While I've played piano for 25 years, I've only dabbled at guitar for about 2 (on and off).

I just bought this along with a Godin ACS Slim guitar from Musicians Friend. I've had it for 5 days. Three words. I LOVE IT!!!!!

I went to Fishman's website where they do some tests. I initially thought it was too good to be true. I still bought it, and I'm glad I did.

The guitar might sound good as it is, especiall if it's a high-end guitar, like the one I purchased. But none the less, this pedal takes the sound of your guitar ABOVE and BEYOND what you thought you could hear. It was unexplanable how prestine the Fishman Aura made my guitar sound. I recommend you have a Fishman for every style of guitar you own. Right now, I only own this Nylon String. But I can guarantee that this will be a required add-on to any other guitar I buy.

They sure did give this pedal a big build up. Acoustic-electric guitar players have been searching for that magic box that will fatten up their poor wimpy guitars for the last 35 years. This pedal does do that, but unfortunately not well enough. Try using a Boss Compression Sustainer CS-3 with an acoustic-electric guitar. Compression is a must.
