I got was sceptical about buying this guitar because of my past experiences with the mexican models, but I decided to try out the newer ones, and boy was it a great choice! I got the arctic white with maple neck and it's great. Has a nice powerful sound, with a great range from a nice country rock sound but is also capable of some blistering hard rock solos. THe only problems with it (which really arene't that bad) are the sustain could be a bit better, and tremelo bring it out of tune a little (barely enough to notice). But For the price range you can't get a better guitar, great buy!

PERFECT for blues and rock, but im a metal head. it has awesome cleans and amazing on a light distortion. i dropped a seymour duncan hot rail in the bridge and it rokks now. great guitar to have up with u on stage. a few guys above said that the tremolo is good, but put mine a little out of tune. not enough for the average person to notice, but it erks me. grover tuners and prob. solved. once again GREAT GUITAR

i recived my fender lefty broen sunburst used yesterday and all i have to say is beautiful. the neck plays like hot butter and the tremelo works great as well. i thought about buying a gison or jackson but i went with the classic fender. this is my second fender i have a 2003 tele and this strat plays better than the tele. the pick ups sound real nice and crisp on the clean chanel but not so well on the distortion. other than that beautiful. i hope this review helps on your choice to buy one peace to all and play your hearts out

Incredible Guitar

I got this guitar just a few days ago(used of course)But its the same model. I searched up the Serial number and mine is a 2007 model. I have the arctic white with the maple neck, and it is incredible. I normally play Sg's, but I thinkin about including strats with them. The guitar stays in tune very well, except when I use a tremolo, it seemed to go out of tune just a hair. Since mine was used it didn't come with a tremolo, and now I have to order a lefty trem. I love the sound of the guitar, the neck feels awesome too. The frets are just the right size so you won't hurt your fingers going across the neck. This is my third guitar I own, one squier and an epiphone sg. The Sg is my favorite, but I'm startin to reconsider.

A Great Guitar!

This is my first electric guitar (I was originally a bass man). I can't say enough good things about the standard Strat. It's a beautiful guitar. Mine is blue with a maple neck. Good Points: The nut was set up perfectly right out of the box. I adjusted the action to my preference and now playing this guitar seems effortless. The maple neck is incredibly fast! And this baby stays in tune like you would not believe. What else is there to like? Well, when you strum a chord the whole guitar resonates in your hand. I have it strung with D'Addario light weight strings---my personal favorite. Like I already said, it looks fantastic, and I love the sound through a Peavey trans-tube amp. Thanks Fender, for thinking of us lefties and making a great axe!
