Nice Strat

I actually won this guitar at a charity auction about 1 year ago, Was looking to buy a more traditional Strat. But I love the humbucker at the bridge adds a nice rock crunch to it. I am probably nitpicking but I think it is high maintenance, input jack needs tightening often, resoldered volume and tone controls, and had set up adjusted twice already. Other then that is a great looking axe, got the artic white with the maple fret board which is smooth and very fast. It became my go to guitar as soon as I got it. Blues, country and rock it can handle it all

Best for the price

Ill start by saying that this guitar does look 'cheap' compared to other great strats because of the price and that it's made in mexico. That's why many musicians don't look at these... BUT...
To be honest, I'm a professional musician and I've played many American stratocasters while this one feels and plays just like them... Really the only difference is the tonal options and combination of the Mexican pickups. I love this guitar's tone and it matches hundreds of artists from Stevie Ray Vaughn to Eric Johnson's tone which is definitely my favorite overdrive and echo sound. I own one with a maple neck and it feels amazing going down the board to play solos. One thing I do want to mention is HSS. This means that you get one Humbucker pickup which is a pickup that makes less noise/hum and gives you that awesome rock tone while still keeping a "strat" tone if you know what I mean...
The guitar does buzz a little, but remember- restring it when you get it and every few weeks- and to get it set up at a music store just for them to fix the truss rod (hopefully,) and to get you ready to play. By the way, when you get the guitar, make sure the 4-screw silver thing on the back that's supposed to hold the neck and the body together is tightened all the way so that the neck is secure and flat so you'll get the best sustain.
So that's basically it. Thanks for reading my review. I really do recommend this guitar to anyone- beginner or professional- knowing that if you have the money to spend, it might be better to get an american, vintage, or Fender custom shop model for better sound and other features... Check out my youtube channel - 'guitarmangs'- for some future examples. thanks for reading :)

Solid Guitar

I've been playing for about 6 years and have had this guitar for about 3 or 4 years, and haven't really felt the need to replace it. It has held up incredibly, just had to tighten a few screws and whatever holds down the tuning pegs and input jack. It feels sweet, sounds great, and has awesomely high action. The pickups have a great range, too. I've played my brother's epi les paul goth studio (costs about the same), and the strat is way better. The epi feels like plastic and produces a lot a buzz compared to the strat. Definitely give this guitar a shot, it's a solid investment.

I've been playing for almost six years now and this is the fifth strat I have owned. overall I'm vary pleased with this guitar.I was however alittle skeptical about the humbucker in the bridge partley because I'm somewhat of a purist. This skeptics attitude was disspelled vary soon after I plugged it in.And to be frank I was kinda surprised at the qaulity of the pups. For having ceramic magnets this axe comes pretty dog gone close to that traditional strat chime and sparkle while still retaining some abillity to take to varouse kinds of overdrive and distortion. In fact I think it's a better all around guitar than my highway 1 strat witch i so dearly adore. Stays in tune pretty well to.So if your wrestling with the idea of getting one you might as well just let the idea win because you won't be dissapointed.

I was looking for a guitar that could play everything, and could get either a mellow blues sound or a crunchy metal sound. Trust me, the guitar can do both. I was thinking about getting a schecter damien elite, but decided that the strat is so well known and used that I had to buy one for myself. It is so amazingly comfortable, and looks soooo nice. I love it!
