I got this amp last week, and it has been great. I gave it a 4.0 on features, because it's mainly just got distortion and clean, but I wasn't expecting much due to the lack of controls. (If you want more variety, my brother has a Roland MicroCube that he uses with his electric drumset) Overall, great for the money.

I got this amp with my first guitar. For the money, it's a pretty good amp. It can get pretty loud if you're playing alone, and it does have the headphone out/MP3 in jacks. I have found that compared to my other amp (a Line 6 Spider 3,) this amp tends to sound tinny and not quite as full, but it IS still a practice amp. Definitely worth the money, because it also still does have that overdrive built in. My only real two problems with it are that I think the sound is rather tinny (as I said before,) and I haven't been able to get it loud enough to be heard over a drumset as I would like it to be. However, again, it's still just a practice amp. I recommend it to any beginner or to somebody who needs a fair sounding amp at an affordable price.

This is a KILLER amp. Why do they even make a 15G? This is all ANYONE needs for practicing in their home. Anything more than this fella is a waste of money. Get this little gem!

This thing stands under a foot and a half and yet produces both better and louder sound than either of my previous two amps. This thing is five classes above any other amp I've used- perhaps even in a class of its own. I was surprised that for the price it had both standard size line in AND headphone jack. I live in an apartment and am a beginner guitarist, so I'll often put headphones on when it gets late and continue practicing (for the model of the two before that had such a jack). It works wonderfully with my Fender Squier, which at the time I bought it WAAAY back in 2003, cost a pretty penny (for my Dad who bought it for me, anyway). The Fender Frontman 10G is in a class all its own- stunning sound, portable size and nothing sacrificed in the process. I must admit that for the price, I at first wondered if it would be worth its weight. I now know it's worth quite a bit more than I paid for it, or even the retail price. My expectations were shattered, and clearly any concern about the price was unjustified.
