I play Jazz, Blues and some funk. This is in my experince of 30 years the best value out there. First, when using the matching Fender 4x12 cab, the clean channel is sparkling, crisp, and perfect if you use a Pod or other effects series. Also, the amp is lod. I mean LOUD. I mean kill a small child at 50 yards loud. So there is nore headroom than you'll ever need. The distortion channel is pretty good..a crazy sustain and very articulate sqaure wave that is surprisingly warm for a solid state rig. I use humbuckers and of course, your mileage may vary, but this is the most fun I've had with my clothes on in years and this amp will fill ANY room or hall. Only downside is with the cab it's heavy, but that's a small price to pay. If you need a monster amp skip the Marshall and go straight to this baby.

I have this amp and the fm100 cab and it is true what the others say, the clean channel is awesome. the reverb is something special as well and it sounds equally good clean and dirty. the only gripe ive had with this amp is the distortion, to me it sounds too nasaly or something. I cant really put my finger on it, but it led me to sticking with my practice amp for a while cause it just sounds off in my ears. Dont let that get you down however! play it yourself and see what you think! this amp is really loud, played it in my friends garage and you could hear it about a half mile away on lvl 4. SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR WINK GRIN TURN IT TO TEN!

This is the cleanest sounding amp head I have ever heard. the clean channel makes my guitars sing, and crisp. With sctreaming highs. It's also the loudest amp I have ever owned. I had a big amp head before, but I usualy never turn the volume up over 2 1/2 when practicing w/ this. In live perfomances I could never see needing a second rig. I gave the product a 4 because it seems to lack a little bass end on my big 300w 4X12. However it may have more bass with the matching smaller Fener cabinet. The dist. is wonderfull and thick W/ alot of controls, but not verry heavy, even on the "more dist" channel. I recomend using pedals for the more extreame distortion sounds. The only other little cons are the switch is on the back, and the great reverb it has are not switchable on the foot switch. Other than that I can finally hear what my guitars should really sound like, and thier full potential on this amp.

You want an amp with a great clean tone, but don't have $800 to get a good tube amp? This guy is your answer. I use it for that great clean reverby-Fender tone, and I love to run my pedalboard through it - it supports multiple effects pedals without sacrificing tone. I admit, I hate the distortion on this amp, but, well, that's why I have a Big Muff.

I run this through a crate cab with vintage 30's 12 inch speakers, it sounds amazing. The distortion gets up there really well, it pulls off amazing pinch harmonics. The only problem is it does get a little noisy, but theres quite a few solutions to that. It gets LOUD too, and personally speaking, the spring reverb and analog distortion makes it a far better value than any line 6 amp.
