Honors one of the most recognized Jazzmaster players in pop music history.
The Fender Elvis Costello Signature Jazzmaster is a faithful reproduction of the electric guitar Elvis used on his 1977 debut album. Costello's original guitar has gone through many changes in the past 30 years, and this Jazzmaster faithfully replicates the guitar as it existed at the time he recorded the acclaimed My Aim Is True.
Uniquely Costelloish features include an early '70s neck design, walnut stain finish and a tremolo with easier and greater travel for that spine-tingling "Watching the Detectives" spy movie sound!
Fender Elvis Costello Signature Jazzmaster Electric Guitar Features:
Incl. Accessories: Tremolo arm bent at steeper angle (away from body) to provide more travel, Tremolo tension set looser for that "spy movie feel", Custom finish, Late 60's/Early 70's logo
Get yours before everybody finds out about these baby's and there's a "Riot Act." Order now.

recently picked one of these up and have yet to put it down. just an amazing guitar. i had one of the classic player jazzmasters and it in no way compared to the look, feel, and sound of the costello. throw on a set of good 11s strings and its good to go. why fender ships jm's out with 10s ill never know. grab one of these before their gone.

I was going back and forth between this and the 62 reissue and i think i made the right choice. Its got a sturdy neck (great for alternate tunings) and the pickups are phenomenal.
If you're into My Bloody Valentine or Sonic Youth i wouldn't look over this guitar. Though I will be replacing the bridge with a Mastery Bridge and changing to locking tuners.
But I LOVE the finish. it's worth the extra $$.

I bought this guitar on a whim, as I wanted something different. All I can say is: this guitar is well worth the investment. It has the best neck of any guitar I've played. As for sound, it is extremely versatile. I can do just about anything with this guitar. The photos do no justice for the finish. The bottom line is that I'd suggest getting one before they are gone. In fact I'm getting rid of every other guitar I own, as they will only collect dust from now on.

I have been looking for a Fender - a little off the beaten path, unique sound, not a strat or tele. I like the fact that it is a vintage style. American made. great sound. I don't go into all the little facts about what makes it great. It just feels good. Great tones and sound. My next purchase, soon.

I've had mine for a couple of months now, it was one of the first to get out into the public. If you're wondering about how this compares to the standard reissue or the vintage JMs that have made them so famous, let me assure you, the Costello edition is all of that plus just a little more. Its got ALL the mojo. Its got a beautiful, beautiful finish. The pickups sound incredible. And it is hands down the best trem on ANY guitar I've ever played. You can divebomb an octave and a half down. Its SERIOUS. Ultra-playable fretboard, lightweight, just as smooth as smooth can be to play.
If you want a JM that both plays and sounds GREAT with a unique trem experience you won't find on any other guitar, check this puppy out.
