The first time I played this guitar I knew it was made for me. The pickups sound great and the neck does feel really good and it looks really good too, not all white and pastey like the other mexican strats. When I put on 11's on this guitar I had to add an extra spring to the brige but no big deal. Sounds great through a tube amp!

well I picked this guitar up at sam ash just to check out a guitar that was different than the standard mex I had my heart set on buying, because i was on a budget. I quickly decided to spend the extra 200 dollars on this beautiful guitar. the comfort is just leaps and bounds above what you'll find in mex standards and USA standards alike. the finish on this neck along with the slightly darkened tint give it a really classy,unique feel. the tone is absolutely breathtaking. you'd swear you were playing and American Deluxe. the tone is clean as a bell and versatile as anything. these texas specials really are...well...special. this is THE BEST guitar you will get for this amount of money. the one and only thing missing is the extra pickup selection switch button thing. I promise you will have enough fun with the pickups just the way they are. buy it and enjoy.

this was my first electric, and I liked it because of how it sounded and how comfortable the neck felt. I've been playing it for quite some time now, and I thank myself every day for choosing this over a more budget-friendly standard or something else. do not let the "glamor" of an american strat fool you. I played many an american strat and this one simply crapped all over them. the neck's finish is like a baby's butt,and the sound is as warm as sex, clean and clear as a jazz flute, and as silky smooth as the best satin sheets you've ever slept on. purchase this guitar. for a mexican strat, it is simply an outrage(in a good way) that you can buy it for this price. take advantage.

WOW. Fender really nailed it with this one. Found a white one for a really good deal at a local music store and came back the next day with cash. This thing SINGS! The neck is like butter and the pickups are a little louder and dirtier than a standards, but still with that clear chiming tone fender is famous for. Great for blues, funk, and rock. The alpine white is gorgeous, and it plays like a dream. Just being picky, the neck had a couple of rough spots, the g string had some fret buzz, and take it easy with the vibrato, or you will spend more time tuning than playing. But all in all a well made guitar with great tone and playability. GET YOU SOME!

I have to say for a mim strat this came to me with great low action. It is worth every penny. The neck is comfortable, and the the tint gives it a really nice feel. I can't say that I'm a fan of the pick ups but I put the yjm set up in mine, and it rocks. For the money its not quite as good as american made quality but you wont know the difference unless you play them back to back.
