I've had the Nash Tele for 2 years and I love it. It's my primary elect guitar for gigs and just playing at home. i've left everything stock except the red pickguard which I swapped out for a white pearloid one (I have the sunburst finish). The guitar arrived all set up, though I did set the intonation after playing it for awhile. Great sound, easy player. If you want a guitar that can handle a lot of styles this is a rgeat choice.

this guitar was a gift to me. red with the maple fretboard. its buttery smooth and rich. it is lacking nothing whatsoever. wasnt a big fan of the twangy middle pickup so i put a dimarzio noisless strat pickup on it. its now a flawless instrument of chaos!

Serviceable but needs tweaking

I purchased this guitar after going through several different guitars with different pickup configurations. As I no longer care about "high gain" playing, I wanted a guitar that was versatile and comfortable to handle, which a Tele has always been comfortable to me.

First impressions reveal this to be a beautiful guitar for the money. Upon receipt, I found no obvious flaws in the finish. Because I done't "gig", I don't know how it would hold up to getting knocked around, but I suppose it would do.

Hardware is serviceable, but a lot of it is reminiscent of typically cheap stuff you would find on a mid-priced guitar. Tuners could stand replacement, though they work okay. Biggest problem I have found is that the controls are horrible. They work intermittently and are noisy. Pickups are garbage as well, but not a surprise. Electronics will be replaced soon enough to eliminate this problem.

Is it a great guitar out of the box? Not really. But if you like Tele's, I think it is a great platform to build upon without spending a fortune. If you do like a stock Tele, however, spend a few more dollars on an American model if the finances allow you to. It will cost a bot more but I think you will be more satisfied in the end.

I have had this guitar (red with maple neck) for about a year now, and i must say that it is amazing. I replaced the pickguard and the middle pick up cover to all black to give it a nice look. I plug this thing into my blues jr. and WOW. the middle position is the best tone. Throw some overdrive on it and you will fall in love.

Very good tele

Last year i bought myself this guitar and I am still very pleased with it. The honey blond finish with a maple neck makes this tele play like a dream. The pickups are very good, which is what i like best about this particular guitar. The tone is unique and unmatched by anything I've ever played. My only complaint was the same as one of the previous reviewers had. The high E-string buzzed like crazy and it drove me NUTS. Eventually I stuck a quarter in between the ashtray and string holder and it is now fine. This guitar is great for a blues tone, and a 60s rock sound.
