A friend who was a Fender dealer found a new/old stock Nashville Power Deluxe in their storage. It was a 1999 that had never been used, still had the pickguard plastic, etc. I'm a Line 6 guy, but missed my old Tele's so I bought it. After having the pots, power chip, electronic stuff replaced (went bad after all that time alone), and the intonation/action set up, I really love it now. Not as great as my Variax 600, but for all the barre chords I play, it's a little more comfortable. Playing thru a Vetta 2, I can adjust the piezo sound nicely.

I've had the guitar for about a year now and I like it more and more all the time. The Sound, the Intonation, the Look, the Action--all so True. I use it with a Roland JC and a Boss GT-10. I just love all the tones I get out of it. It is so clean and Present. I don't get a bad metal sound out of the rig, too.

this telecaster beyond amazing, the temex pickups are perfect for that tele sound and the pickup in the middle for that stratty middy sound is great as well. the quality of this guitar is very giid fri the price you get the qualit of expensive guitars n this affordable one. Ive read that some people hvent quite yet experienced the power of the fishman piezo. An advice for this would be to run it directly to a DI Box or Mixer with some chorus/reverb or if you use a modelling processor like the pod you should bypass all of the modelling capabilities in order to get the max out of the piezo system if you dont you wont get the results expected.

I gave it 4.5 on features because i think that it should b very convenient to have a switch which changes between ceramic and piezo operation because it ould save time when performing live instead of having to lower ceramic volume and raising piezo volume to get that piezo sound.

Another coment would be that i recommend to change to noiseless or emg pickups in order to eliminate the hum that they produce because that can cause a headache if youre using a genuine tube amp.

other than that it is an amazing well-rounded versatile and affordable guitar that you have to buy

This is the first guitar I've played that was priced a bit higher than average. The feel is amazing. For chicken pickin and jamin rock, it does them both. I agree that I haven't quite heard the "acoustic" sound of the Fishman pickup, but I haven't really played with it much and I use it as a volume controller for the most part. Looks beautiful.

I have been torn for about a year now on what to buy. I needed a better Electric Guitar but also needed an Acoustic upgrade. Well I bought this Guitar and I got both! I have played a lot of Acoustic guitars and the Nashville Power Tele would give them a run for there money. I have dreamed of the day where I could switch from Electric to Acoustic with the twist of a knob. Not to mention I don't have to bring two different guitars to the gig. And when you start blending the tones, you'll find yourself not wanting to put it down. The Strat setup on this Tele gives you everything you need to play any style of music. But don't be fooled, that Tele growl is still there. I basically got two great guitars for the price of one. Buy it, you can't go wrong!
