OK, after reading all the reviews I was really excited to get this guitar. I have a Gibson Les Paul Classic (2001) and I was looking for a backup guitar. The first issue that I have with this guitar is that it's neck heavy, at least with the straps that I use. So, you spend all of your time holding the guitar in place. Next, I was very unimpressed with the gain/output of the pickups. Granted, I'm comparing it to my Les Paul, but I have much cheaper guitars that sound just as good or better. Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice looking guitar. But, it's almost to nice if you want to play it. One of the reviews said delicate, and I would definitely agree. Bottom line, it seems to be very much like a Schecter or something along that line. Just my opinion.

I've had it 2 days, and I'm sending it back.

I have played this lightweight guitar four years and cannot say enough about it. You must want the thinline neck. You must want jumbo frets. It's best you not beat this instrument up, because it is on the delicate side. Mine came from the Korg factory in Korea, I was told. Easiest barre chord neck in the world, but know string space is thin. I play country swing. I know nothing about rock or distorted metal. Very pretty. Very easy on the back when standing.

Beautiful....sound and looks

This guitar is beautiful and, at least the one I got, there are no flaws.

Moving on to the more important stuff...this guitar sounds amazing, and with the coil tap, there is a vast array of tones that you can get out of it. The Neck is very comfortable for me, you'd have to feel it for yourself to make that determination. The hardware is also sweet looking, especially on the Amber model (mine).

The only fault I found with the entire guitar is the 3-way pick-up switch is loose. I'm not talking about it being mounted loose, it is mounted fine, the actual toggle switch arm is loose. I'm going to have to replace it with a better quality switch.

The Duncan's sound great to me, and the coil tap feature works well, that is, the pull-out switch feels very sturdy and of a quality build.

I've owned this guitar for the better part of 4 years, and it still plays like it's brand new. It's extremely lightweight compared to other Teles (any tele owner will gladly appreciate this). The neck is thin enough to where your hands simply glide up and down the fret board. The string play is very light and it's very easy to get some fast riffing going. The tone is great and stays in tune like a champ; the harmonics even with the stock pickups can be sick if you have the right distortion. If you have the money, I would definitely recommend this beast to beginners and experts alike.

I hve been lucky enough to have accumulated three of these guitars- an amber, a spalted maple, and a Musician's Friend exclusive model they were selling a few years back.

First of all, one should not compare this guitar to another telecaster but rather it should be compared to a Gibson SG, with whom it has more similarities than it does to a regular tele.

The workmanship is fantastic. The hardware top notch. The Seymour Duncans are first-rate all the way.

It feels great and hangs perfectly balanced when you're standing up (unlike the SG). The coil tap feature is wonderful. It plays lightning fast with a super-thin made to shred forever very, very fast neck.

The only thing I don't like about it is the super jumbo frets. Just not for me. I prefer short and skinny frets but understand that is not the style these days.

I own three of them so you know where I'm coming from. If you're looking for a thin-bodied solid body shredder humbucker machine that's built great, plays great, and looks incredibly great look no further than this guitar. You'll be glad you got it.
