Anyone going to purchase this item buyers beware these pedals are junk. I got 2 of them in the past 4 months, potomieters go out, strings that activate the pots pulleys gets all tangled up the pedal freezes up. They dont make them like they use to. I would go to something else there are a lot of other good pedals. PLEASE NOTE. I'm just trying to protect you from buying something you will regret in a hurry.

I've used a dozen or so volume pedals for guitar including some high-priced boutique volume pedals. This low cost Fender is my preference. The swell rate is gradual, and it is louder at full volume than many others. All volume pedals eat some high frequency tone, but this is no worse than the expensive ones. I've had this one several months, so I'm not sure about its durability, but it seems solid and is noiseless. It has no little strings that break either.

Overall, a very good pedal particularly for the price.

Fender has been known by musicians young and old for delivering quality products and the Fender Classic Volume Pedal is no exception. I've been looking for a volume pedal that won't kill the tone of my bass and this pedal definitely delivers. Perfect tone all the time with this! A very-affordable must-have for the gigging musician!
