Superior Value Playabler Guitar

This is a stunningly beutiful guitar that plays quite well -- I did not agree with some that did not like the tone. I played mine before I bought it and found it was one of the best sounding guitars out of dozens. I wish that it had a solid top, so that I could expect it to sound better through the years, but that typically doesn't happen with a ply-top guitar. Nonetheless, the tone is beautiful, plugged or unplugged. I agree that it's not the loudest dreadnaught I've ever played, and it's not as loud as some jumbo acoustics, but it is very respectable and has a lovely unplugged tone. The electronics are excellent, though not superb. Despite it's not being at the top of the heap of all acoustic/electrics ever made, it's in the top 20 percent, in my opinion, and is a very playable, giggable, professional enough to use regularly, instrument. Value wise, it's near to unbeatable. I've been playing over 25 years and have owned a $2000 Gretsch acoustic electric. This isn't too far behind.

Big disappointment

Beautiful guitar but an absolute piece of junk. Out of the box--the tuner package was held in by one screw and the plastic retainer inside (the screw holes were way too big). Batt to preamp wires hanging loose (not secured). The bridge is so loose it leans and without the strings to hold it in it falls out. Of course it cannot fret true because of the bridge. A bad experience. Expected more from a Fender 220. Guess I'll stick to Martin. Hank Endler

I have owned this guitar for nearly three years and treated it properly. THe looks are amazing. The playability is mediocre. The sound is unique, I just have a problem with the projection. Overall its a good beginner acoustic. It will do what you need it to do fine, however, I feel even cheaper guitars can do it better. If you dig it, you dig it. I did but its time to step up now that I know what im after.

I bought this guitar a couple of weeks ago and I am amazed at the quality and value of it. It plays so easily and has a rich sound. I love it. It looks beautiful too. Probably the prettiest guitar I have seen. The built in tuner is a plus!! This is a great guitar
