It's all about the tone I have bought and tried many guitars and this one is the best. When playing for my friends sitting around the house they all like the sound, when I pick up my washburn or ovation or my fender acoustic they tell me get the other guitar( 140 ) what else can I say.

I played this guitar a few years ago when I was looking for a nice guitar to buy because I was getting alot better. I regretted very very much not buying this as it is one of the few very nice acoustic-electrics available because it has an onboard tuner with a cutaway and looks great! I play all kinds of music from bluegrass to heavy metal. The tone of the guitar is amazing (of course the one I played was around 4 years old if I'm correct.) Doesn't sound quite like any other fender acoustic. It sounds even better! I am purchasing this soon and cannot wait to have it to show off to the guys in my bluegrass band then take to my metal band and hook up to an amp to show off the electronics! I am highly impressed with this guitar especially with the price and quality. It would not surprise me a bit to see someone shell out a thousand bucks for one of this quality. Great guitar I recommend to everyone beginner or advanced.

For the price I couldn't ask for more. You get more than what you pay for. Sounds great, looks great and built in electronics. For a Hobbyist like myself on a budget it's perfect. Highly recommend this guitar. MF Thanks!!!

I'm more than happy with this guitar and MF. They sent my wife a quart of fog liquid which caused some disappointment in her special ed class when the bubble machine flopped. When told about it, MF sent double the order of bubble mix and paid for everything. They're cool. I have two guitars from here and am happy with both.

I just got this yesterday and have played it about 2 hours total so far. I am debating sending it back. The action is far less than desirable. There is major fret buzz when plucking the D string open! Some minor fret buzz on the open Low E string as well. It may just need some minor adjustment to correct the problems, which I have yet to attempt. Fret buzz when fretting is bad enough, but on open strings!? I am by far not a guitar tech, and about the only thing I feel comfortable trying is a truss rod adjustment. Anything more involved than that is not something I want to try.

I do like the looks of the guitar. Aesthetically, it is a sweet instrument. It has a great finish and is smooth all over, including the all-important back of the neck. I like the unusual black pins and black/white (as opposed to the typical solid white)binding. The Fishman electronics and the built in tuner are great, especially when you consider the price of this guitar. With the right action, the sound might be quite good. But that is difficult to tell with the fret buzz.

This guitar is mass produced in China, so I guess that has to be considered when judging the instrument. I am used to playing a banged up 70's era Ovation. Despite the age of that instrument, perhaps my experience with it clouds my perception of the Fender.
