I got this guitar yesterday and i havnt put it down since. it feels and sounds amazing. the S-1 switch is awesome, its ads something special when youre soloing. right when i got it i put new strings on it and once i got them in tune i havnt had to tune them since. the locking tuners are amazing. my only complaint is that the shrink wrap on the pickgaurd was really hard to get off and it left the pickgaurd sticky so theres a bunch of stuff stuck on it but it still sounds great so i dont care that much about it.

Having played guitar for 14 years now, I've never considered myself a Fender fan in any capacity... but this one blew my mind.

The broad array of tones is perfect for any style of music: the electronics are nothing short of flawless and the playability is unparalleled (I may never play on another rosewood fretboard again!)

Encountered some problems with spontaneous string breakage (with no apparent cause) and the wiring underneath the jackplate came undone and had to be re-soldered right before a gig. The floating bridge design also causes intermittent intonation problems...

But absolutely worth it!

I've owned this guitar for just over 2 years now and have no need for any other guitar. Probably the best neck to ever exist: Strat. They've perfected it over the years to the point it is now. The guitar is solid, stands up to a beating, looks beautiful, plays well, and as others say.... it stays in tune even through the worst whammy thrashings ever. - Granted all reviews are opinions.

I've been playing guitar for over 26 years. I've played lots of guitars, many very good, but somehow I never found the perfect guitar. **Until Today!** The American Deluxe Strat is, truly, a great guitar. It stays in tune, it plays easy, and sounds amazing. Yes, they are a little spendy, but please believe me: it is money well spent. This is a real electric guitar, a guitar that you can be proud of and play with confidence. If you're serious about playing the electric guitar, get one of these. Don't wait 26 years like I did!

I bought this guitar almost 2 years ago, and i can not keep my hands off of it. it ALWAYS stays in tune, and the neck is smooth as glass. I have several other high dollar american guitrars (jackson, gibson)but the playability of this ax has them all beat. this will be my go to guitar for a long time. the pick-ups are very good and bright, with excellent response..i love it
