A Decent Electric

I got this last year, except I got one that's S-S-S instead of H-S-S that didn't come with an amp. It's decent. I want to replace the pickups in it with a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge and middle and a Cool Rails in the neck, though. I say that because the pickups, inn my opinion, sound thin. But if you want good value for your money, walk this way.

If you're a beginner, I guess this is okay. Nothing more than okay though. I started with this and I would change it if I could... First of all, the tuner and straps are pieces of crap. The tuner flat out never worked, the strap is just painful to use. The guitar get's out of tune VERY EASILY. Other than that, it's really not the bad for a beginner. Now the amp, the Bullet 150 amp sucks. It's horrible. I would get so much static when I played. It doesn't even sound half good. My advice to a beginner would be to buy a good amp, and a beginners guitar. You'll be much happier that way.

Playing my old Squire Strat was good, but when I bought this new one with the humbucker at the bottom, it was a whole new world. The sound is so much better than a standard 3 pick-up, and hearing it through the bullet 150 amp was pretty good to.

This was my first guitar/amp. and it had suited my needs well. The guitar is solid. and pretty durable. some of the hardware might need replacing later, but the guitar feels very solid. The amp could of been a little better. getting the right gain is very tricky as the distortion is rather wild, but it has a decent clean channel. Over all the pack is a great choice for beginners. great quality for the price.

For Beginners

If your a beginner, I would recommend getting this set. If not, don't bother. This guitar was an excellent guitar for when I started. It's pretty durable, I've had it for a little under a year now and there's only a few scratches on it. Now the Bullet 150 Amp is fine for a beginner. Though as the months grow on you get so bored of the sound it has. I still own this Amp and it's basically a piece of crap. I have a DigiTech RP150 with makes the sound somewhat listenable. The tuner and the cable are complete jokes. The tuner it came with just plain never worked, the cable lasted like 4 months or so. Overall this set is good for beginners, and will advance them to intermediate with some desire within less than a year. If you are not a beginner, don't bother with this.
