I've owned the SFX2 for about a year and have enjoyed using this amp with my Alvarez Yairi at home, playing with a church worship team, providing dinner music at assisted-living homes, small parties, an internet café, and a local hotel restaurant. This amp handles the variety of venues well--whether cutting through the mix of eight rocking musicians wailing away on contemporary church songs, projecting my music over the “ambience” of the occasional coffee grinder, or floating soft music over the heads of 250 restaurant diners. And, I believe the SFX2 will enhance your voice and instruments so as to make you sound even better, a claim already made earlier by other SFX2 owners. Hearing is believing!! For now and the near future, this is the perfect amp for me. The only other amp I would consider, otherwise, is the Genz Benz Shenandoah Pro LT 200W.

I bought a Fender Acoustasonic SFX II Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp last month. I do everything from little gigs to big concert hall performances. I play my Takamine EG334SC and when you plug it into this amp... AMAZING! I've played through quite a lot of amps, but none like this one! This amp some how manages to carry the different tones that each guitar has. With most acoustic guitar amps, no matter what guitar you plug in, the guitars all sound the same. They might sound good, but they all sound the same! It's not like that with this amp. Fender did a good job!

I bought this amp about three years ago for my Taylor acoustic. After selling my guitars one by one I decided to sell this amp on ebay too. I plugged in my Korg CX3 organ only to make sure all was in working order before listing the amp and all of a sudden WOW. I spent most of the night tweeking and playing with the organ and amp combo and I was astounded how clean and punchy the CX3 sounded at moderate to louder volume levels. Not to mention I could run the CX3 in a kind of virtual stereo mode with both amp channels with seperate FX on each channel. DONT rule the thing out for organ and piano keyboards because of the sonic range of pianos/organs are close to that of guitars, but be aware that the wide dynamic sonic range of a synth is a little harder to achieve since the amp is really voiced for guitars. Synths are a little better in front of a Roland KC350 or 550 keyboard amp instead. Needless to say that I will not be selling this amp now. If it's in your price range for guitars or organs ..trust me this is the bomb.

Although I bought this new through an auction, I had played and used the amp prior. I play a Taylor T5-C1 through the amp and have no problems to report. Its operator friendly, easy to set up I haven't used the foot pedal though I really see no need to. It has a wonderful full sound using the DSP modes. Fills up the rooms I've played in very well, no complains. Have used it in a church setting and everyone hears it fine. I've even been asked to turn it down. Worth the money I paid for it and no regrets with any of my Fender products, as I owe a HR Deville, Fender 72 Thin line, Eric Johnson Strat, Fender Deluxe Tele, Fender Active Deluxe 5 and a 4 string bass, here. Thanks
