First Custom Strat

I've had it a few weeks now, great guitar but overpriced for what it is. Play it thru a Fender amp and it really gets the Tommy Castro, SRV or Hendrix tone. The neck is totally awesome. It was delivered in perfect condition although you might need to lower the action just a tad. The only bummer is they included a cheap cord, you can pretty much just toss it in the garbage. No care kit either which was a surprise for such an expensive guitar. If you buy one, you'll love it especially if you play clasic rock, country and blues.

Fender's Custom Shop '69 NOS is truly a great guitar. It's a guitar like this that makes you appreciate the things that can sometimes go unnoticed on less expensive guitars, but once upgraded make a huge difference. The neck is outstanding (mine is maple), the "thin skin" nitro finish looks great and the Custom Shop '69 pickups make this a great blues guitar.

I can't believe how nice this guitar is. I shopped all over looking at every model strat available and after a year of searching I decided on the 69 strat. I own a 76 strat and this one is every bit and more guitar. This baby sings and is worth every penny I paid for it. If I had to do it all over however... I would.

I am in a stage band at school, and sometimes i jam with this other guy who has this guitar, and we both have to share an amp because there is only one spare, and let me tell you, his guitar blows my Les Paul away. The pickups deliver shimmering highs and great midrange tones. Anyways, i asked him if i could try it out and the first thing that came to my mind was the amazing feel. I would seriously consider buying this guitar just for the action and feel even if the tone wasn't dead on. basically, if you have the cash, get it, and you'll sound like jimi in no time, considering you know how to play.

You really do get what you pay for. This guitar is incredible. The feel, style, sounds, and playability from this guitar are outstanding to say the least. Beware, you will not want to put this guitar down once you start playing it.
