FINALLY MINE!!!!!!

After years of lusting, finally saved enough and now it's mine. Much better than the '52 I used to have - more unique. I'll get the wiring redone to modern specs, but that's quick and easy. Set up perfect out of box/case and awesome - I mean awesome craftsmanship. If you have the money and you're wondering about buying, just do it. You will not be sorry you did. Mine's sunburst, but they look great in all the colors available.

Perfect neck, hand shaped frets, ultimate feel, beauitful look and excellent playability. Installed Fender CNS pickups, 4-way switch (for that humbucker value) and constant volume pot resistor. settings for warm neck, country bridge, duel bell tones and the magnetic reverse humbucker. With a set of Fender brass saddles, you have it ALL!

This is the cake for Tele fans. Don't confuse yourself by trying to compare this to a Strat or Gibson, these guitars are aimed at the Tele player who already knows what he is looking for and why. After playing several different Tele models, this one took me to the floor with its round fat tone. Twang and snap from the vintage frets - jumbo fret Teles can't do that (unless you use 9s). Awesome bass response and extremely smooth. The rosewood neck and the vintage pickups are the bomb. Breaks up nicely with overdrive and loves pedals. Silly wiring needs to be redone, to be true to the original 1 position is stripped of the highs, and the middle pos is the neck alone with no combined pickup switch setting. Easy and quick fix (they supply the diagram and necesary cap). Vintage size frets, fretwork, setup and intonation was perfect (as much as the vintage saddles allow). The vintage pickups in this '62 are not noiseless but have a much richer tone than the SCN noiseless pickups in my American Deluxe. If forced to choose I'd keep the '62.

I love this guitar. Raw and unforgiving just as a Tele should be. Plenty of bite on that bridge pu, however, it does need to be re-wired. I bought the 3 color sun burst,...what a classy looking axe!
