When I first picked up this guitar, I fell in love. It was the only Strat I had ever played that really captured that huge quack that made the Strat famous. I purchased it, and still own it. However, after the honeymoon, I realized this thing isn't much. The pickups are thin, poorly balanced, and have HORRIBLE string balance. The finish on the neck is very sticky (although the neck size is LUSH). Chords lack weight, the treble response is ridiculously harsh. Beautifully crafted, but just not a solid instrument.

I just got back from playing this a few hours ago and wow. It almost plays itself. The setup was perfect and the fretboard was greased lightning. The overall ease of play was just tremendous, weather it was chord heavy hendrix fills or a pentatonic flurry, it was all so effortless!

The sound was twice as incredible as the playability. Any more, its very hard to find a strat that has a good vintage funky "spank" to it, but this has it in spades. The sound really pops off the string.

I was plugged through a Marshall mode four. The tone was, as I said, very funky, but also VERY smooth and responsive. I dont mind the 3-way pickup selector because I've always hated the 2 halfway positions, but all three pickups sounded amazing. Dead on a 56' strat.

Im a little weary of "reliced" and "aged" guitars, but the job fender has done with these. You could play it and swear it really was a 56'. The wear is very convincing; they didnt go overboard at all, and the fretwear was probably the best detail. Nothinbg like a broken in fretboard on a 50's neck!

I will be getting one ASAP. Any guitar that makes you want to play it is a guitar worth owning, and I'll probably never put this down.

This guitar beets out anyother i have owed. Very smooth for any playing style. It will give a great punch if you need it. The wood is very supurb and graet sustain. the sound comes from the wood.

I've been playing for 22 years, and have had a chance to play some great instruments, and I have to say, this one rates right up there with anything else I've played. Some may call me crazy, but I actually traded my '75 Strat for this relic repro. The '75 NEVER would have been this guitar even with a refret and all electronix changed...it's in the wood. This one is so light and resonant, you won't want to put it down. Trust me. Thanks for my dream guitar FCS!

I can not think of a better guitar for the blues / rock that I play. Simply the best. I took out the stock bridge pickup with a Dimarzio Vintage Solo to beef up the bridge some, and that is the only complaint I had.
