This volume pedal works great, nice and smooth. However, the string the spins the potentiometer broke on mine. They really should have used a heavier string or plastic coated cable. Now I have to figure out how to take apart the thing and get a new string in there. Also, it is a bit expensive for what it is. I do really like the solid metal construction though.

This is an amazing pedal. At the moment, my pedalboard is growing and this was one of the first to be added. First, since this pedal is passive, it requires no battery of expensive power cord. Another great thing is the tuner output. This is great so you can tune silently. Since having this pedal, I have had no problems or complaints at all. BY THIS PEDAL!!!!

I switch between electric upright, five-string and for string basses and need to do it quickly. So the ability to make volume adjustments on the fly was my primary reason for purchasing this pedal. And silent tuning is a nice benefit too. This is a smooth, solid pedal and I notice no noise at all, running it through the effects loop of my amp. A very well made product with a lifetime repair plan.

I just bought this pedal, but so far it seems to work fine. It does what it is supposed to do, control the volume. I use it with a combo amp and a Digitech multi-fx pedal board, it works with the board into the volume pedal, out to the amp, not vice-versa. I played one gig so far with it and it worked fine. Outside casing is metal so its durable. I would recommend it.
